About
Hasib Tareen is an independent design and development studio. We build identities, editorial systems and digital products for people who care how things are made — artists, publishers, architects and founders.
The studio works in small, senior teams. Every project starts with the words and the grid, and ends with production files we would be happy to hand to anyone. Nothing is decorative; everything is considered.
Since 2019 we have shipped work across three continents from a two-room studio, collaborating with photographers, type designers and engineers we trust.

Brand Design and Development
Naming, identity systems, guidelines and the rollout that follows — from wordmark to signage to the tone of a support email. We design brands as living systems and build the tools that keep them consistent.
UI/UX Design
Research, information architecture, interaction and interface design for products people use daily. Prototyped early, tested often, documented in a design system your engineers will actually adopt.
Layout Design & Annual Reports
Editorial design for print and screen: annual reports, catalogues, magazines and books. Typography, grids and image direction that respect the reader’s time and the company’s story.
Web Development
Fast, accessible, maintainable websites on WordPress or a static stack. Performance budgets, real content models and editors that make sense to the people who publish every day.
Art Direction
Photography, illustration and motion briefs; shoot direction and post-production. We build the visual world a brand lives in, then hand over the rules to keep it coherent.
